DEFENDING BUENA VISTA LAGOON. On February 16, 2007 the Oceanside, California City Council approved a three story, 82 room hotel, restaurant and four condos on a site adjacent to the Buena Vista Lagoon. The Buena Vista Audubon Society, local residents and others concerned with the longterm health of the Lagoon, have united in an effort to stop the proposed development.
